2008 General Information (updated 5/29/2008)

The Taos Wool Festival sponsors a program of workshops each year, taught by instructors who are experts in their fields.  We hope that by offering a variety of subjects and skill levels we will have something for everyone.  This year, we have several half-day workshops taking place during the festival for a brief taste of a skill, as well as in-depth three and five day classes.  Everyone who is enrolled in a workshop is invited to attend our Friday night gathering at the Taos Convention Center, where we will share what we’ve done and have previews of workshops to come over tea and cookies.  This is just one way that workshops at the Taos Wool Festival emphasize a personal touch.

Workshop Locations

Workshops are generally held at the Taos Convention Center or at surrounding hotels.  Dye workshops are held at Taos Clay, which is on the north end of Taos.  Specific locations are assigned in September based on the enrollment level of each class.
